How it works

Laser Fractional CO2
Laser fractional CO2 is a cutting-edge scar treatment that penetrates deep into the skin to stimulate collagen production and rejuvenate the skin's surface. By delivering laser energy in tiny fractions, this treatment minimizes downtime and provides remarkable results.

Microneedling
Microneedling is a popular scar treatment option at WEDO. This minimally invasive procedure involves the use of tiny needles to create micro-channels in the skin, stimulating collagen production and promoting skin rejuvenation. Over time, this helps to reduce the appearance of scars and improve overall skin texture.

Scar Subcision
Subcision is a specialized scar treatment that involves using a needle to break up the fibrous bands beneath the skin's surface. This releases the depressed skin, allowing for natural collagen production and filling of the scar. The procedure is quick, minimally invasive, and can be combined with other treatments like laser therapy for optimal results.

TCA Cross
TCA cross is a minimally invasive scar treatment that involves the application of trichloroacetic acid to the affected area. This procedure encourages the production of new collagen, resulting in a smoother, more even skin texture. It is a cost-effective and efficient solution for treating shallow scars.

Corticosteroid injection for keloids
Corticosteroid injections are a common scar treatment for keloids. By directly injecting corticosteroids into the scar tissue, we can reduce inflammation and collagen production, leading to flatter, softer scars. This method is particularly effective for newly formed keloids.

Microneedling and chemical peel for scar resurfacing.
As a versatile scar treatment, microneedling combined with chemical peels creates controlled micro-injuries to stimulate collagen production. This process is highly effective in reducing the appearance of acne scars, atrophic scars, and other skin imperfections.

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP)
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) is a revolutionary scar treatment that utilizes your body's natural healing properties. By injecting platelet-rich plasma into the damaged skin, we stimulate collagen production and cell regeneration, leading to improved skin texture and reduced scar appearance.

Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy is a treatment that involves injecting a cocktail of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and other bioactive substances into the middle layer of the skin. This stimulates blood circulation and collagen production, helping to fill in scars and rejuvenate the skin. Mesotherapy is particularly effective for treating atrophic scars, such as ice pick and boxcar scars.

Laser Erbium
Erbium laser treatment works by breaking down scar tissue and stimulating the production of new collagen, which helps to fill in scars and improve skin texture. This minimally invasive procedure is highly effective for various types of scars, especially acne scars and other atrophic scars.

Make results last
Protecting yourself from the sun.
To optimize the results of your scar treatment, it’s crucial to protect your newly treated skin. For the first 48 hours, we recommend wearing protective clothing such as a thick cotton mask or dark-colored garments. Subsequently, consistent use of a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher is essential, even in indoor environments.
Using gentle skincare products
Post-scar treatment skincare should focus on gentle, natural products to avoid irritation. Avoid strong actives like BHA, AHA, Retinol, Tretinol, Vitamin C, HQ, Arbutin, or BPO for the first 1-2 weeks to allow the skin to heal properly.
Achieving optimal skin hygiene following scar treatment.
For the first 24 hours, your skin may feel slightly tight, red, and mildly itchy. Cleanse your skin only once with saline solution and gently pat dry with a soft, clean towel. Apply a gentle moisturizer 2-3 times daily to soothe your skin. Be careful not to disturb the newly formed skin. After 24 hours, you may wash your face 2-3 times daily with clean water. Avoid hot water and cleansers containing harsh chemicals. Minimize exposure to dirt, sweat, and avoid heavy makeup for 3 consecutive days. Following these post-scar treatment care instructions will help optimize your results.
Don't forget to drink water
For best results in your scar treatment journey, remember to stay hydrated. Drinking 2 liters of water daily supports your body’s healing process and helps maintain skin moisture, leading to improved scar appearance.
Avoid touching the treated site.
After about 5 days, your skin will start to peel. Itching may occur during this process, but please refrain from scratching to avoid damaging the healing skin and potentially causing further scarring. Avoid exfoliation, steaming, or using harsh products during this period to ensure optimal scar treatment results.
