PRP Facial Rejuvenation in Ho Chi Minh City — Price & Procedure

PRP facial rejuvenation at WeDo, HCMC from 4,900,000 VND per session. Uses your own platelet-rich plasma, dermatologist-performed, free skin analysis first.

PRP facial rejuvenation at WeDo Skin Clinic is priced per listed service in our PRP & PRF group, from 4,900,000 VND per session, and a skin exam and analysis with a dermatologist is free before any treatment. PRP uses platelet-rich plasma separated from a small sample of your own blood to stimulate collagen production: skin quality improves gradually with each session, results typically become visible after a few weeks, and your dermatologist advises how many sessions suit your skin at the free exam. Because the material is your own blood, the risk of an allergic reaction is kept to a minimum — and results are maintained with follow-up sessions on your doctor’s schedule, not delivered as a one-off effect.

This page is for you if your skin looks dull, pores are getting larger and fine lines are settling in despite a consistent skincare routine — and you want to improve skin quality with your body’s own repair mechanism, through a low-downtime procedure. It is also written for visitors and expats in Ho Chi Minh City: WeDo runs two clinics, in District 1 and District 2, our dermatologists consult in English, and every price on this page is a listed VND price you can check before you book.

PRP is one piece of a larger rejuvenation picture. For the full overview of how it sits alongside HIFU, RF and laser options, start from our high-tech skin rejuvenation page; if your first question is budget, the skin rejuvenation cost in HCMC page aggregates the listed prices of every service in the rejuvenation cluster.

The technology

How it works

What is PRP facial rejuvenation, and why your own blood?

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) is prepared by drawing a small volume of your blood and spinning it in a centrifuge. The plasma that separates out carries platelets at a much higher concentration than circulating blood. Platelets are where the body stores its growth factors — the biological signals that reactivate fibroblasts and drive new collagen and elastin production exactly where the plasma is delivered. For ageing skin, that translates into gradual, cumulative change: smoother texture, better elasticity, softer fine lines and tighter-looking pores over a course of sessions. PRP works on overall skin quality rather than on one specific wrinkle zone, which is why it suits people whose goal is to lift the baseline condition of their skin. The defining feature is that the raw material is your own blood. Nothing foreign is introduced, so the risk of irritation or allergy is kept to a minimum. The same service group also includes PRF (platelet-rich fibrin), a variant spun more slowly so that growth factors release gradually over a longer window; whether PRP or PRF fits your skin better is your dermatologist's call after the exam, not a decision you need to make in advance.

When is PRP the right choice — and when is another technology better?

PRP rejuvenation fits best when the problem is skin quality itself: dullness, dryness, reduced elasticity, shallow fine lines, enlarged pores — skin that looks tired but has not visibly sagged. It is also a sensible starting point if you want a gentle, low-downtime treatment built on your body's own mechanism rather than a stronger intervention from day one. In real treatment plans, PRP rarely works alone. Dermatologists often combine it with energy-based technologies such as RF or laser, pairing collagen stimulation from within with thermal remodelling from outside. If, on the other hand, your skin shows clear sagging and the goal is lifting, dedicated lifting technologies — HIFU, Thermage, Ultherapy — are the primary route, and your dermatologist will walk you through those options at the consultation. PRP has genuine contraindications that must be excluded first: platelet or blood disorders, current anticoagulant medication, active skin infection in the treatment area, malignant disease, and pregnancy or breastfeeding. Do not self-diagnose — the free skin exam with a dermatologist exists precisely to screen for these before anything is scheduled.

How is the PRP procedure performed at WeDo?

The whole procedure is indicated and performed by a dermatologist, in standardised steps: a small blood sample is drawn from a vein, the same way as a routine blood test; the sample is centrifuged to separate the platelet-rich plasma; the treatment area is cleansed, disinfected and surface-numbed; the dermatologist then delivers the plasma to the treatment area according to the plan agreed at your consultation; and the session closes with soothing care and written aftercare instructions. Everything happens within a single visit, in the clinic's procedure room under medical aseptic protocol, and most patients return to normal activities almost immediately afterwards.

Treatment process

6 steps, clinically led

1

Step 1: Dermatologist consultation

A dermatologist examines your skin with a high-tech analysis device and screens out contraindications before any course is discussed.

2

Step 2: Treatment recommendation & listed price quote

Your dermatologist recommends the PRP/PRF service that fits your skin and quotes it against the listed price table — you know the cost before anything starts.

3

Step 3: Blood draw & centrifugation

A small blood sample is taken from a vein, then centrifuged to separate the platelet-rich plasma used in your session.

4

Step 4: Disinfection, numbing & the procedure

The treatment area is cleansed, disinfected and surface-numbed; the dermatologist performs the procedure personally, following your agreed plan.

5

Step 5: Soothing care & aftercare instructions

Your skin is calmed immediately after the procedure and you leave with specific instructions for the first days at home.

6

Step 6: Next session & follow-up review

The next session in your course is scheduled, and a follow-up visit checks how your skin is responding so the plan can be adjusted if needed.

Aftercare

Make results last

Aftercare following PRP facial rejuvenation

For the first 24–48 hours, skip makeup, avoid touching or massaging the treated area, and cleanse only with the gentle products you are instructed to use. For the first few days avoid strong sun, saunas, swimming and alcohol — the skin is in active repair and needs a stable environment. Once your skin has settled, daily sun protection is the single most important habit for protecting your result. Any topical or oral product during this period should come from your doctor’s instructions only — do not add actives on your own.

When do results appear, and how are they maintained?

PRP results do not arrive overnight — and that is normal. New collagen takes time to form, so improvement builds along the collagen remodelling cycle: typically visible after a few weeks and accumulating across the sessions of your course. Skin continues to age, so results are maintained with follow-up sessions on the schedule your dermatologist sets for your skin and response. For the detailed cadence discussion, see how often should you get PRP.

To place PRP within a longer-term plan alongside energy-based options, the high-tech skin rejuvenation page gives the full picture, and our treatment technology overview lists the devices behind each service.

PRP within a complete rejuvenation plan

PRP also serves indications beyond facial rejuvenation, each with its own page: for post-acne scarring, see PRP for scar treatment; for thinning hair, see PRP for hair loss. If what you are actually after is deep hydration and glass-skin glow, that belongs to a different service family — mesotherapy and skin boosters — with a different mechanism, and your dermatologist will help you tell the two apart at the exam. And if your skin already shows clear sagging, lifting technologies are the primary route — start from the high-tech skin rejuvenation overview linked above.

Not sure PRP is the right call for your skin? Book a free skin assessment with a WeDo dermatologist — you decide only after you have a concrete plan and listed prices in hand. Consultations are available in English at both our District 1 and District 2 clinics.

FAQ

Still have questions?

How much does PRP for the face cost in Ho Chi Minh City?
At WeDo, services in the PRP & PRF rejuvenation group are listed from 4,900,000 VND per session, depending on which service your dermatologist indicates after the free skin exam and analysis; prices exclude VAT. The RF combo currently carries its own supported price — see the price table on this page.
How much does one PRP injection cost?
The price covers the full session as one procedure — exam, blood draw, centrifugation, treatment and immediate aftercare — not individual injections. Each service's per-session price is on the listed table, and your dermatologist confirms which service applies at the exam.
Does a PRP facial hurt?
The area is surface-numbed before the procedure, so most patients feel only light pinpricks. Afterwards the skin may look slightly red or feel tight for the first 1–2 days, settling on its own.
How long do PRP results last?
Skin improves gradually as collagen production builds — typically visible after a few weeks and accumulating over the course. Because skin continues to age, results are maintained rather than fixed: your dermatologist recommends a periodic follow-up schedule matched to your skin.
Who should not get PRP?
People with platelet or blood disorders, those on anticoagulant medication, anyone with an active skin infection in the treatment area, patients with malignant disease, and women who are pregnant or breastfeeding need a doctor's assessment and are generally not treated. The free exam screens for these before treatment.
How often should you get PRP for your face?
Frequency is set by your dermatologist based on your skin and its response — usually a course with a few weeks between sessions, then spaced further apart for maintenance. Your exact schedule is confirmed at the free exam.
