The technology

How it works

Microneedling

Microneedling

Microneedling is an aesthetic treatment used to address concerns such as scars, acne, and hyperpigmentation. It is minimally invasive and performed using a specialized microneedling device combined with massage to act on the epidermal layer. This method utilizes silica-based microneedles to deliver nutrients deep into the skin, nourishing and stimulating the skin’s regenerative processes. At the same time, the needles create controlled micro-injuries on the skin surface, triggering collagen production to support repair and improve skin structure.

Fractional Microneedling

Fractional Microneedling

Fractional Microneedling for scar treatment is a method that combines microneedling with chemical peeling to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin production. This helps improve atrophic scars, minimize pores, and enhance overall skin texture. The treatment is suitable for various types of scars, particularly effective for acne scars and depressed scars.

RF Needling

RF Needling

RF Needling is an aesthetic treatment that combines high-frequency radio waves (RF) with ultra-fine microneedles. These microneedles deliver RF energy deep into the dermal layer, generating controlled heat that stimulates metabolism, enhances blood circulation, and promotes collagen and elastin production—helping to improve acne scars and reduce signs of aging. Although it also uses needles, compared to microneedling and fractional microneedling, RF Needling typically causes less discomfort during the procedure and offers a faster recovery time.

Advantages

Why choose this treatment

Minimally invasive: Compared to laser and fractional microneedling, RF Needling is less invasive, helping to limit skin damage and minimize unwanted side effects.
Safety: Many modern RF microneedling devices have been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for use in aesthetic treatments.
No prolonged downtime: Due to its minimally invasive nature, after treatments for scars and enlarged pores with microneedling, fractional microneedling, or RF Needling, patients can quickly return to their normal daily routine without extended recovery time.
Quick results: Pore-refining effects can be noticeable after the first session. However, scar improvement depends on the severity of the condition and is typically more evident after completing the full treatment course.

Treatment process

7 steps, clinically led

1

Step 1: Examination and assessment of the scar condition

The first step in the treatment process is the examination and assessment of the scar condition. The doctor will evaluate the type of scar, its location, and its severity to develop an appropriate treatment plan.

2

Step 2: Develop a personalized treatment plan

After gathering all necessary information, the doctor will develop a personalized treatment plan for each patient. Since every scar condition is different, the plan must be flexible and tailored accordingly. It typically includes the treatment methods, number of sessions, estimated budget, and post-treatment care instructions. This helps patients better understand the process and prepare effectively for recovery.

3

Step 3: Comprehensive skin cleansing (makeup removal, facial cleansing, exfoliation for scar treatment, etc.)

Before starting the treatment, thorough skin cleansing is essential. Makeup removal, facial cleansing, and exfoliation help eliminate dirt and dead skin cells on the surface, creating optimal conditions for the treatment process. The products used in this step should be carefully selected to avoid causing skin irritation.

4

Step 4: Apply topical anesthesia and prepare medical equipment

Once everything is prepared, the doctor will apply topical anesthesia to the treatment area. This helps minimize pain and discomfort throughout the procedure. After numbing, all medical instruments are carefully prepared and sterilized to ensure patient safety. This is a crucial step in preventing infection and avoiding unwanted complications.

5

Step 5: Remove anesthetic cream and disinfect the area

Before starting the treatment, the doctor will remove the anesthetic cream and disinfect the treatment area. This step not only ensures proper hygiene but also minimizes the risk of infection during the procedure. It is also an opportunity for the doctor to reassess the skin condition before proceeding. If any abnormalities are detected, the doctor will provide appropriate advice and adjust the treatment plan accordingly for optimal results.

6

Step 6: Perform Microneedling/ Fractional Microneedling/ RF Needling

Once everything is prepared, the doctor will proceed with the treatment according to the selected method in the treatment plan. Depending on the technology used, the procedure may vary accordingly. The doctor will perform each step carefully and precisely to ensure optimal results. Throughout the process, the patient will be closely monitored to maintain safety.

7

Step 7: Provide post-treatment care instructions

The doctor provides post-treatment skincare instructions and guidance. The therapist will create an online chat group for at-home care, connecting the patient with the doctor through an online channel to regularly monitor the patient’s skin condition.

Aftercare

Make results last

Within the first 24 hours

Immediately after the procedure, the skin should be soothed using methods such as cold compresses or sterile products with calming and anti-inflammatory effects to minimize the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

Avoid water contact during the first 24 hours. This is considered a “golden period” when the skin surface remains open, allowing optimal absorption of nutrients. Therefore, appropriate products should be applied to deliver beneficial ingredients that support the treatment goals.

Days 2 to 5 after treatment

Keep the skin clean and avoid activities that cause excessive sweating. Stay away from polluted environments or dusty areas without proper protection. Avoid touching the face to prevent infection and interference with the healing process.

Cleanse gently with saline solution using light motions. If using a facial cleanser, choose a mild product under the guidance of a dermatologist.

Avoid exfoliating cleansers or products containing strong active ingredients such as AHA or BHA.

Do not exfoliate or wear makeup for at least 10 days after microneedling.

Apply moisturizing and skin-repair products containing growth factors at least twice daily.

Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen and ensure proper sun protection.

After 7 days

Although the skin may still be thin, symptoms such as redness, swelling, and itching should improve. At this stage, treatment products for concerns such as aging, melasma, or pigmentation may be introduced to enhance results. Continue consistent moisturizing and sun protection to prevent dryness.

Within 14 days after treatment

Avoid swimming pools or beach trips to prevent direct exposure to strong sunlight.

Avoid hot showers, saunas, or facial massages. Refrain from alcohol consumption and foods that may cause irritation while the skin is still recovering.
