About Meso / Pigmentation Treatment Injections

About Meso / Pigmentation Treatment Injections

Mesotherapy, also known as microinjections of active ingredients to treat pigmentation concerns, was first introduced in France in 1952. Since then, this method has been widely applied in hospitals and clinics by medical professionals. Doctors inject small amounts of medications or nutrients directly into the skin to nourish the skin or stimulate biological activity. As a result, the treatment response is significantly more effective than conventional topical applications. In the treatment of melasma and freckles, targeted active ingredients are delivered into the dermis – where melanin-producing cells are located – to inhibit this process while simultaneously supporting skin regeneration and repair. Mesotherapy is widely used in aesthetic dermatology, including skin rejuvenation, pigmentation treatment, hair growth stimulation, and stretch mark treatment.

Commonly Used Active Ingredients

Commonly Used Active Ingredients

Depending on the skin condition and the severity of melasma or hyperpigmentation, doctors will select the most appropriate injectable active ingredients. - Tranexamic Acid: Tranexamic Acid strongly inhibits the process of melanin synthesis. - Glutathione: A well-known skin-brightening ingredient that helps even out skin tone and fade melasma patches. - Peptides & Amino Acids: Support skin repair and regeneration while strengthening the skin from within. - Vitamin C: A powerful antioxidant that helps brighten the skin, reduce dark spots, and inhibit melanin production.

Treatment process

8 steps, clinically led

1

Step 1: Assess the skin condition before treatment

Before starting the treatment, the doctor will perform a skin examination and assess the client’s skin condition. Based on this evaluation, the doctor will determine the type of melasma, freckles, and brown spots, as well as the underlying causes and the extent of skin damage.

2

Step 2: Develop a personalized melasma treatment plan

After the evaluation, the doctor will develop a personalized treatment plan for each client. Since every individual has a different skin condition and biological response, the treatment approach will be adjusted accordingly. The doctor will also advise you on available melasma treatment options, clearly explaining the benefits and potential risks of each method, as well as suggesting options that fit your budget so you can make the most appropriate decision.

3

Step 3: Makeup removal, cleansing, and exfoliation

Before starting the melasma treatment, the skin needs to be carefully prepared. The first step is makeup removal and deep cleansing to eliminate dirt, excess oil, and any remaining makeup on the skin. Next, the exfoliation process helps remove dead skin cells, allowing treatment solutions to penetrate the skin more effectively. This is a very important step that helps enhance the overall treatment results.

4

Step 4: Apply topical anesthesia and prepare medical instruments

Once everything is prepared, the doctor will apply topical anesthesia to the treatment area. This helps reduce pain and discomfort throughout the procedure. After the numbing process, the medical instruments will be carefully prepared. All instruments must be sterilized to ensure patient safety. This is an important step to minimize the risk of infection and other unwanted complications.

5

Step 5: Remove the numbing cream and disinfect the skin

Before starting the treatment, the doctor will remove the numbing cream and disinfect the treatment area. This step not only ensures proper hygiene but also helps minimize the risk of infection during the procedure. The doctor will also reassess the skin condition before beginning the treatment. If any unusual signs are detected, the doctor will provide appropriate advice and adjust the treatment plan for optimal effectiveness

6

Step 6: Perform Mesotherapy Injections

Once everything is ready, the doctor will proceed with the mesotherapy injections. The procedure is performed carefully and precisely to ensure optimal treatment results. At the same time, the patient will be closely monitored throughout the process to ensure safety.

7

Step 7: Post-treatment care instructions

The doctor will provide instructions on post-treatment skincare. The therapist will also create an online care group for at-home follow-up, connecting the client with the doctor through online channels to regularly monitor the client’s skin condition.

8

Follow-up visits according to the scheduled appointment

After completing the treatment process, follow-up visits to monitor and evaluate the results are very important. The doctor will assess the skin condition and the progress of recovery. If necessary, the doctor may adjust the treatment plan or recommend additional methods to enhance effectiveness. This ensures that patients receive the best possible care and achieve the expected results.

Aftercare

Make results last

Post-Injection Reactions

During the first few days, you may experience mild swelling and bruising. These symptoms usually subside on their own after a few days. You can help speed up recovery by applying a cold compress for 10–15 minutes each time, every 2–3 hours.

If the swelling or bruising persists, please consult your doctor.
