How it works
Celluma & Photocare
Celluma and Photocare use different wavelengths of light to support acne treatment. Each wavelength has a specific function: - Blue light targets P. acnes bacteria within the hair follicles, helping reduce acne-causing bacteria. Red light penetrates deeper into the skin to reduce inflammation and support tissue repair. - Celluma and Photocare are typically indicated for mild to moderate inflammatory acne or used to soothe the skin after comedone extraction. After Celluma or Photocare treatment, you can apply makeup and resume normal activities. The effects are cumulative, so regular treatments may be performed to support ongoing acne management.
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light)
IPL emits a broad spectrum of light ranging from 400–1,200 nm. The light targets porphyrins, metabolic by-products produced by C. acnes, helping reduce acne-causing bacteria on the skin. IPL may also help reduce inflammation and decrease sebaceous gland activity.
Q-Switched Nd:YAG Laser — Lutronic Spectra
Q-switched Nd laser delivers ultra-short laser pulses that release energy precisely to the targeted areas, such as inflammatory lesions, sebaceous glands, and pigmented lesions, while minimizing damage to the surrounding healthy tissue. Q-switched Nd laser is typically indicated for persistent inflammatory acne, oily skin, or acne accompanied by post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. The number of sessions is determined according to an individualized treatment plan. After treatment, the skin may appear mildly flushed, which usually resolves within the same day.
Dye-VL Harmony (Germany)
Dye-VL uses a narrow wavelength range of 500–600 nm, which is strongly absorbed by hemoglobin. It precisely targets the blood vessels supplying inflammatory lesions and residual post-acne erythema. This helps improve acne, reduce redness, and even out skin tone without invasive procedures. Dye-VL is typically indicated when both acne control and skin tone improvement are needed.

Chemical peels help break down the bonds between corneocytes that can clog the follicular openings, keeping the skin surface clear and disrupting the anaerobic environment that supports acne-causing bacteria.
